FixFin is a Canadian automotive-equipment financing and leasing platform, part of the BIZII Finance Network. We help eligible Canadian automotive and service businesses explore financing or leasing for professional repair equipment — from a single lift to a complete shop, and including purpose-built mobile service vehicles.

The process is built around one idea: the equipment quote is the anchor of the request. Here is how a request moves, stage by stage.

THE SIX STAGES, STAGE BY STAGE

01

1. IDENTIFY THE EQUIPMENT

Know what your business needs — a lift, an alignment system, a paint booth, a complete shop package, or a fully equipped service vehicle. Details like brand, model and quantity can be refined later.

02

2. GET A QUOTE

Request a quote from your equipment dealer, upfitter or installer. A complete, itemized quote gives the review process a clear anchor — equipment, pricing, and any directly related costs.

03

3. TELL FIXFIN ABOUT THE BUSINESS

Start the application and tell us about your shop — the business, the equipment, the project. No account or login is needed.

04

4. COMPLETE THE APPLICATION

Business information, principal information and the equipment details are completed by the applicant. Dealer-started applications hand this private portion to the customer through a secure link.

05

5. REVIEW AVAILABLE STRUCTURES

Depending on the business, the equipment and the transaction, structures such as financing or leasing may be available. FixFin connects the request to the BIZII Finance Network for review.

06

6. COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION

When a structure is approved and accepted, the transaction is completed with the vendor — and the equipment is on its way.

FINANCING VS LEASING — THE SHORT VERSION

Equipment financing and equipment leasing are two different structures for putting professional equipment to work in a business. Financing typically builds toward ownership of the equipment; leasing typically puts the equipment to work for a defined period under agreed terms.

Neither structure is universally better — the right fit depends on the equipment, the business and the transaction. FixFin's deep guide, Equipment Financing vs Leasing for Automotive Businesses, covers ownership, term, equipment-life and cash-flow considerations in detail.

WHAT WE DON'T PROMISE

Approval outcomes, timelines, rates and terms depend on the business, the equipment and the transaction — so FixFin doesn't publish guaranteed funding timelines, same-day claims, rate tables or approval promises. What we do promise is a clear process: quote-first, one application, Canada-wide.
