THE COMPLETE MOBILE SERVICE
EQUIPMENT FINANCING GUIDE

The operation, the equipment, the suppliers, the quote — everything behind a turnkey mobile service build, and how the financing request around it works.

A mobile service business isn't just a vehicle. It's a commercial chassis, a service body or van upfit, and the installed equipment that turns them into a rolling workshop — usually sourced from several different suppliers, and usually quoted as one complete build by a specialty vehicle builder.

The direct answer to the most common question: YES — the professional automotive service equipment installed in a mobile operation — diagnostics, tire-service equipment, fluid systems, compressors, battery-support systems and storage — can be reviewed together as one equipment project. The commercial van or truck itself is sourced by you and is not part of this equipment program.

WHAT A COMPLETE MOBILE BUILD INCLUDES

THE VEHICLE / CHASSIS

The commercial van or truck chassis
Chassis-cab platforms for service bodies
Selection and specification stay with you and your builder — FixFin is vendor-independent

THE UPFIT

Van upfits — racking, power, lighting, fluid systems
Service bodies, crane bodies and compartment storage
Outriggers, PTO and hydraulic power where applicable

THE EQUIPMENT

Tire changers, wheel balancers, compressors
Fluid tanks, pumps, reels and meters
Cranes, welder/generators, diagnostic tools
Technology hardware — tablets, POS, telematics

Recurring software subscriptions (booking, dispatch, invoicing apps) are operating costs, not financed equipment — eligible installed technology hardware may be part of the build.

MULTIPLE SUPPLIERS, ONE PROJECT

A mobile build typically touches a chassis dealer, a body builder or upfitter, an equipment supplier and an installer. FixFin's application captures each vendor, their equipment and their role — with each supplier's quote uploaded to the same request.

The alternative is a complete build quote from a specialty vehicle builder: one document covering the entire turnkey unit. Both paths work — upload whichever quote(s) you have.

HAVE YOUR EQUIPMENT QUOTES READY?

Upload them — one complete package quote, or separate quotes from each supplier.

USED UNITS & MULTI-VEHICLE FLEETS

Eligible used professional equipment can be considered — year, make, model and condition of each piece, with photos, is the useful picture.

One operation or an entire fleet: a multi-unit equipment rollout can be structured as one project request with unit counts and per-unit costs, rather than a separate application per operation.

DEALER- AND UPFITTER-STARTED APPLICATIONS

Van upfitters, body builders and complete-truck suppliers can start the customer's FixFin application with the build details and hand it over through a secure link — the customer completes the private information themselves, and the builder never sees it.

One canonical application per transaction, seller-started or buyer-started, flows into the BIZII Finance Network for review.
